Main aim of setting up Book Bank is to encourage the meritorious students by providing informational and educational assistance from the institute itself. The book bank scheme has been started in this college during the 2020-2021 academic year. But in the wake of the covid pandemic, classes have not started and students have not been able to start this service.

Circulation desk (Barcode & automated transaction)

Library Circulation is the function of lending library materials (books, serials, sound recordings, moving images, cartographic materials, etc. that are owned by a library) to the users of the library. Library Circulation includes checking out library materials to library users, renewing the borrowed items, reserving checked out items for the patron, checking in materials returned, checking the materials for damage at the time of return, if found damaged then giving that to responsible staff for repair and when repair is not possible then replacement, renewal of materials, receiving payment of fines for damaged and overdue materials and payment for subscription to the library and other charges, maintaining order in the stacks by re-shelving the library materials by call number given by classification system, such as Library of Congress Classification (LCC) or Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system. There is a Circulation Desk, a long counter usually located at the main entrance of the library to carry out library circulation activities. It is the service point to register for the library card, check out, renew, and return library materials. Library staff at circulation desk also provides basic search and reference services in the use of library and placement of information resources.

We are started this service in the 2019-2020 academic year.

Repography

Repography or Photocopying is a form of making copies of books from newspapers, and pamphlets and the like. The practice is a very valuable aid to the library users. Photocopying (in broader sense, any kind of machine reproduction) comes under the provisions of copyright and affects the document supply services of libraries and information centres. The development of photocopying services has helped many libraries in their efforts to provide better services to their users ensuring better access to library materials. Our Library is equipped with 5 Pcs with internet connection Utility area provided for the usage of Laptops and its charging purpose in E-resources accessary is equipped with 5 Pcs with internet connection Utility area provided for the usage of Laptops and its charging purpose in E-resources access.

Digital Library

Digital library is a collection of documents in organized electronic form, available on the Internet or on CD-ROM (compact-disk read-only memory) disks. Depending on the specific library, a user may be able to access magazine articles, books, papers, images, sound files, and videos. On the Internet, the use of a digital library is enhanced by a broadband connection such as cable modem or DSL. Dial-up connections can be used to access plain-text documents and some documents containing images, but for complex files and those with animated video content, a downstream data speed of at least several hundred kilobits per second ( Kbps ) can make the user's experience less tedious, as well as more informative. Internet-based digital libraries can be updated on a daily basis. This is one of the greatest assets of this emerging technology.

Internet services

One of the main reasons most academic libraries provide access to the Internet is to give their users access to another information resource. Provision of the opportunity to 'surf the net' is the baseline networked service. Our Library is equipped with 5 Pcs with internet connection Utility area provided for the usage of Laptops and its charging purpose in E-resources access

Bound volumes

Once a volume is no longer current, the Library will gather up the issues in that volume and bind them together into a single book. These are the bound periodicals, which are then placed on the shelves. There is very little bound volumes here right now. Steps have been taken to increase the number of bound volumes

New arrivals

New books are shelved on the “New Arrivals” shelves for a limited amount of time (usually 1 year) in order that library users may have a chance to browse new acquisitions. These new books are shelved on the bookcase the entrance gate.

E-resources

Electronic resources (or e-resources) are materials in digital formataccessible electronically. Examples of e-resources are electronic journals (e-journal), electronic books (e-book) online databases invaried digital formats, Adobe Acrobat documents (.pdf) and more.

Reference services

Reference services are the services provided by the reference department in a library that helps the library patron to get access to the information that they needed. Information services that involve either finding the required information on behalf of the users, or assisting users in finding information. The reference service here does not function as a section but provides reference service to the users. This system was also launched in the 2020-2021 academic year.

Property counter

A property counter has been arranged at the entrance of the library to store the belongings of those who come to the library as no items brought from outside the library are allowed.

Drinking water

A water dispenser setup in the reading area of the library to users for drinking water.

Fire extinguisher

A fire extinguisher is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or control small fires, often in emergency situations. In this library we have arranged a fire extinguisher for the above purpose.
