The mentoring system at Don Bosco College, Mannuthy aims at the holistic development of students through academic guidance, personal support, career orientation, and value-based formation. The mentor–mentee system functions as an effective mechanism to monitor students’ academic progress, attendance, discipline, emotional wellbeing, and overall growth.

Objectives of Mentoring

To provide academic and personal guidance to students.

To identify and support slow learners and advanced learners.

To monitor attendance, discipline, and academic performance.

To motivate students for higher studies and career development.

To provide emotional support and counselling whenever necessary.

To create a healthy relationship between teachers and students.

The mentoring system during the academic year was effective in supporting the academic, emotional, and personal development of students. The programme helped create a positive and supportive learning environment in accordance with the vision and mission of Don Bosco College, Mannuthy.
