Waterbodies and Distribution System
Don Bosco College, Mannuthy, is committed to ensuring a safe, healthy, and sustainable campus environment by providing an uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water and maintaining reliable water resources. The campus is supported by a well-maintained open well, which serves as an important water source, complemented by a systematically maintained overhead water tank that ensures a continuous and efficient water distribution system across the campus.
To provide easy access to safe drinking water, the college has installed three purified drinking water facilities at strategic locations:
- In front of the Science Block
- In front of the Arts Block
- Beside the Arts Block
Each drinking water unit is equipped to supply clean and purified water throughout the day. Regular cleaning, servicing, and quality monitoring of the water purification units, storage tanks, and distribution system are carried out to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
The thoughtfully planned water infrastructure reflects the institution's commitment to environmental sustainability, student well-being, and the creation of a healthy, comfortable, and eco-friendly campus for all members of the college community.
