IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Don Bosco College Mannuthy was established on 29 May 2019 and has since become a vital component of the institution's pursuit of academic excellence. Its formation underscores the commitment of the college towards maintaining and enhancing the quality of its academic and administrative functions. The IQAC plays a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by designing and implementing structured actions that catalyze growth and development.

The primary objective of the IQAC is to establish a robust quality assurance system that enhances both academic and administrative performance. By fostering a holistic approach to quality enhancement, the IQAC ensures that every aspect of the college’s functioning is evaluated and enhanced regularly. A key responsibility of the IQAC is to ensure the adequacy, maintenance, and effective functioning of the support infrastructure necessary for the college's academic and administrative activities. This includes overseeing the development and implementation of standards and benchmarks that guide the institution's operations. By setting specific quality parameters for academic and administrative practices, the IQAC provides a framework for measuring progress, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring that high standards are consistently met.

In addition, IQAC also plays a crucial advisory role in identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting measures to enhance the quality of various programs and initiatives within the college. This involves not only reviewing existing practices but also recommending new strategies to elevate the overall experience of students, faculty, and administrative staff.

The IQAC at Don Bosco College Mannuthy plays a key role in conducting internal and external academic audits to assess the effectiveness of academic and administrative programs. These audits ensure transparency, accountability, and help identify areas for improvement. The IQAC is also responsible for documenting various programs and preparing key reports like the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) and Self Study Report (SSR) for submission to NAAC, as well as filing documents such as NIRF and KIRF. Through these efforts, the IQAC contributes to the continuous improvement of the college, enhancing its academic and administrative standards while ensuring it meets evolving educational demands and maintains its core values of quality and integrity.
