An Ode to Our Gurus

The Azora Students Union of Don Bosco College, Mannuthy, organised a heartfelt Teachers’ Day Celebration titled “Diksha – An Ode to Our Gurus” on 7 September 2026 at the College Auditorium. The programme was conducted as a tribute to the teachers whose dedication, guidance and encouragement continue to shape the lives and aspirations of students. The celebration provided an opportunity for students to express their gratitude and appreciation for the invaluable role played by their teachers.

The celebration was designed to honour the teaching community and recognise the lasting impact of a teacher’s presence in a student’s life. Through the programme, students celebrated the bond between teachers and learners and reflected on the values of knowledge, patience, inspiration and mentorship. The event beautifully conveyed the message that while lessons and chapters may eventually fade from memory, the teachers who inspire students to believe in themselves leave an enduring mark on their lives.
