ONAAROHAM 2026: A Vibrant Celebration of Heritage, Unity, and Festivity at Don Bosco College, Mannuthy

Don Bosco College, Mannuthy, celebrated the auspicious festival of Onam with immense fervor and traditional grandeur under the banner of ONAAROHAM 2026 on August 20, 2026. Embracing the festive spirit centered around harmony, prosperity, and campus togetherness, the entire college community—dressed in vibrant Kerala ethnic attire—gathered at 10:00 AM to partake in the joyous cultural festivities.

The celebrations began with a grand, traditional ceremonial entry of King Mahabali, setting an energetic and cheerful tone across the campus grounds. Following a solemn prayer rendered by Devanandha K. P, the formal assembly was inaugurated. Ms. Minu Thomas (Vice Principal) delivered the welcome address, setting the stage for the distinguished dignitaries. Rev. Fr. Devassykutty Kollamkudi SDB (Vice Rector) officially inaugurated the event and delivered an inspiring Onam message on selflessness, righteousness, and mutual harmony. The audience was further delighted by the traditional Maveli message, followed by warm festive greetings from Rev. Dr. Fr. Jimmy Jose SDB (Principal) and words of felicitation from Fr. Rubin Mathew SDB (Administrator). The formal session concluded with a gracious vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Anitta Louis, who appreciated the management, organizing committee, and student body for their dedication.

The day reached a high point of excitement with the presence of Sun Network’s Surya Comedy crew on campus to shoot their special Onam episode for the show ഇപ്പോ ശരിയാക്കിത്തരാം (Ippo Shariyakki Tharaam). Hosted by the popular media personality RJ Althwaf, the interactive comedy segments, witty student engagements, and festive skits electrified the atmosphere. Alongside the media showcase, students actively participated in rich cultural presentations, including traditional Thiruvathirakali and Onappattukal, creating a truly memorable experience. ONAAROHAM 2026 concluded on a high note, beautifully blending cultural heritage with contemporary entertainment and leaving an enduring spirit of camaraderie across Don Bosco College.
