Poster Presentation Observed World Day Against Child Labour
The Department of Social Work organized a Poster Presentation on 12 June 2026 in observance of the World Day Against Child Labour. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of child labour and the importance of ensuring children's rights to education, safety, and a healthy childhood.
Students actively participated in the event by preparing and presenting informative and creative posters highlighting various aspects of child labour, including its causes, consequences, and preventive measures. The posters effectively conveyed messages advocating for the elimination of child labour and the promotion of children's welfare.
The event served as a platform for students to express their social responsibility and commitment towards building a child-friendly society. Faculty members appreciated the participants for their creativity, awareness, and dedication to the cause.
The programme concluded with a call to support global efforts to eradicate child labour and ensure a safe, secure, and dignified future for every child.
