GUIDELINES

1. There will be two internal examinations in every semester.
2. The first internal exam: 1 hour exam.
3. The second internal exam: as per the university exam pattern.
4. The marks obtained in both tests will be converted into a total of 10 marks and will be entered in the university internal database
5. Students should be seated in the examination hall at least 5 minutes early before the commencement of examination.
• Any student coming late upto 30mits from the commencement of examination hall will be allowed to appear for the examination after proper permission from the HOD.
• Students have to write legibly in blue/black ink.
• Mobile phones, bags, any manuscript or any loose sheets of paper are not permitted in the examination hall.
• Should hand over the answer script to the invigilator before leaving the examination hall. Answer sheet should not be taken outside the hall
• In the case of any malpractice, for minor issues the decision of the invigilator will be the final. In the case of major issues the matter will be forwarded to the Exam in charge and the decision will be taken by the concerned authority.
• Every appearing student should mark their attendance by signing the attendance sheet.
6. Students who were absent for medical reasons after submitted the Medical Certificate can write retest.
7. The question paper should be handed over to the exam cell one week before the examination.
8. One copy each of the mark sheet should be submitted to the the department ,exam cell and IQAC office.

PROCEDURES FOR CONDUCTING THE EXAM

Step 1

• Circulate the circular to staff for indicate the date of exam and question paper submission date.
• Circulate the circular to students for indicate the date of exam.



Step 2

• Publish a notice to the department notice board for indicate the date of exam, question paper submission date and invigilation duty list.
• Publish a notice to the students notice board for indicate the date of exam and time table.



Step 3

• Prepare seating arrangement and publish it on the notice board.



Step 4

• Conduct the examination and take the attendance.
• Collect the answer sheet after examination and distribute to the concerned teachers.
• All examinations should be conducted at the morning session and it should be valuated at the evening session.



Step 5

• Collect the valuated answer scripts and distribute to the students.
• Marks are entered into the respective databases.
