ADMISSION

Admission to the college is made in accordance with the directives of the University. However, the right to deny admission to the college rests with the Principal.

8.45 a.m. – 12.00 p.m. & 1.00 p.m. – 4.00p.m.

LUNCH BREAK
12.00 p.m. to 1.00 p.m.

OFFICE TIME

Monday-Saturday: 8.30 a.m. – 5.00p.m.

Documents /certificates can be collected from the office only from 1.50p.m. to 3.p.m. on working days.

On Public Holidays

Library and Office will remain closed.

RULES AND GENERAL BEHAVIOUR AND DISCIPLINE


  1. On Mondays at 8.40 a.m., before the commencement of the classes, members of the staff and students shall assemble in the portico for the morning prayer and on other days in their respective class rooms.
  2. Students shall always have the Identity Card in their possession and produce them whenever asked by a member of the staff, teaching or non-teaching.
  3. Every student shall endeavour in his /her behaviour to conduct himself/herself, within the college premises and outside, in the manner worthy of a University student.
  4. Students shall wear prescribed uniform. Girl shall wear churidhars and boys shall wear formal pants and T shirts of the prescribed uniform. Boys shall not wear T shirts in the campus.
  5. Every student shall handle the college property with care. No marks shall be made on the furniture or on the walls. All serious or willful damage to furniture etc. will have to be paid for. The classrooms and college premises must be kept clean and tidy.
  6. No decorations are allowed on the class room walls, verandah or college portico. No posters shall be pasted or nailed on the college buildings or trees.
  7. Posters, banners of flags are not to kept or exhibited anywhere in the campus except with the written permission of the Principal.
  8. Furniture in the classrooms shall not be shifted anywhere or rearranged without the prior permission of the Principal.
  9. Forming student organizations and involving in such activities are banned in the campus.
  10. No programme shall be arranged by associations or clubs during the class hours with out the prior permission of the Principal.
  11. In the absence of the teacher, the class leader shall contact the respective department to make alternate arrangement. On failing to make an alternate arrangement, the students shall not loiter or crowd anywhere in the campus, but engage themselves in the reading room.
  12. The students are welcome to bring to the attention of the authorities any reasonable grievance or difficulty they might have.
  13. Parents and guardians are requested not to ask their children /wards to come away from college before the class is over.
  14. Students shall park their two – wheelers in the space assigned to them. The college does not provide parking facility for four-wheelers used by the students.
  15. Taking photographs of students by students within the campus is strictly forbidden. This is permitted only during the ‘social’ of the final year students in the third term with prior written permission from the principal.
  16. Strikes, Dharnas, gheraos, processions, shouting slogans, mass petitions, boycott of classes etc, are prohibited in the campus.
  17. Irregular attendance, insubordination to lectures, habitual neglect of class assignments and obscenity in the word or deed shall be viewed seriously.
  18. Smoking and the consumption of liquor or narcotic drugs are strictly prohibited and warrants disciplinary action.
  19. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against the students found having any association with ant-social gangs. Students are warned against bringing the members of such groups to the campus.
  20. Ragging is a criminal offence. Police case will be registered against any one of involving in ragging or harassment of women. Any one found to have indulged in and abetted ragging shall be expelled from the institution.
  21. In view of Governor’s order RT No. 346/0/H. Ed. dt. 01-03-2005, the Government has banned Fashion show, Cinematic Dance and the use of Mobile Phones with or without Camera, in the College Campus.
  22. Any student found with a mobile phone in the campus will be fined Rs. 250/- in the first instance. Subsequently, the mobile phone is liable to be confiscated.

RULES FOR THE COLLECTION AND REFUND OF FEES


Mode of collection of tuition fees

Tuition fees will be collected in two installments in the months of June and November respectively. The first installment of fees will be collected within a period of seven consecutive working days beginning with the date of re- opening of the College.



Payment of Fine for Default

If any student fails to pay the fees on the due date he/she shall be liable to pay a fine of Rs. 25/- along with the fees before the seven consecutive days after the due date. If the seventh day happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be counted as the seventh day. After the due date, another seven consecutive working days will be given, to pay the fees with a fine of Rs.100/-

Consequence of Non- Payment of Fees
  1. If the fees and fine are not paid before the last opportunity given for payment of that installment, the name of the student will be removed from the rolls of the college with effect from the date following the expiry of this period and if the student is to be readmitted she/he shall have to apply for special permission of the Principal and also will have to remit all the arrears of the fees with fine, together with Rs.250/- as readmission fees.
  2. The re-admitted students will get the benefit of attendance only from the date of re-admission.
  3. If the student does not pay the dues till the last date prescribed she/he will not be allowed to appear for examinations.

Re-Fund of Caution Deposit

The caution deposit will be refunded to the students when TC is issued. The students should produce and surrender their identity card, the fee receipt of the first installment and that of the caution deposit. Refund is made after deducting all the dues, if any, on account of :

  1. Loss of Library book
  2. Breakage of the properties of the college
  3. Fee arrears if any.
